The Florence Fuller Child Development Centers After-School Program

Drawing on more than two decades of experience in the real estate industry, Larry (Lawrence) Weisberg serves as a business development executive at The Agency Group (TAG) in Boca Raton, FL. Through TAG, Larry Weisberg gives back to the local community by supporting groups such as the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers.

Founded to empower children from families with economic disadvantages, Florence Fuller Child Development Centers provide services ranging from education to health care and family support. The organization's after-school program, A.C.E.S. (which stands for Academic, Character, Education, and SPARK, a program for physical fitness), serves children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Children in A.C.E.S. engage in a holistic array of activities to support their physical, emotional, and mental well-being from the end of school until 5:30 p.m. each school day. The program takes place under the leadership of an educational professional with more than three decades of experience in the field of supplemental learning.

A.C.E.S. includes a healthy snack and dinner, tutoring and homework assistance, and a variety of extracurricular activities. For example, children have the opportunity to engage in arts such as ballet and music, or work on computers. Those who exhibit negative behaviors receive additional assistance from specialists in learning and family support.
