George Snow Scholarships for High School and College Students

As the owner of The Agency Group (TAG) Real Estate in Boca Raton, FL, Lawrence "Larry" Weisberg assists clients in buying and selling residential properties. His clientele includes professional athletes and other high-net-worth individuals. Larry Weisberg also uses the success of his company to support the George Snow Scholarship Fund.

Since it was established in 1982, the George Snow Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $12.1 million to over 2,000 outstanding scholars. Currently, the fund oversees several scholarship programs for high school and college students.

Qualifying Florida high school students planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational school can apply for one of the George Snow Scholarship Fund's unrestricted or area-specific scholarships. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and a history of school and/or community involvement. The scholarships are reserved for students attending a Palm Beach County high school or one of a few select schools in northern Broward County.

The George Snow Scholarship Fund's offerings for college students include the Palm Health Foundation Nursing Scholarship. Supported by the Palm Health Foundation, this needs-based nursing scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate nursing students attending one of six Florida colleges and universities. GPA requirements apply, and applicants must maintain at least a part-time course load. Over the past two decades, more than $2.8 million in educational funding has been awarded through the program.
